    Seems like Blue Iris is the way to go; however, I was planning on buying my system and having a professional security company install all the cabling and such so Im not sure if they setup Blue Iris or not as im not that tech savvy.

    Thanks! Are there any security threats if I don't connect the NVR to the interent and just view It on my monitor? Maybe when I travel I can connect it and use a remote viewing app.
