    I am using H265, I'll try H264, although as I said, it's been working great for months. The camera is connected to the Internet via the Synology. When you say "the system", do you mean the Synology or the camera?

    Dahua IPC-B54IR-Z12E-S2, only a few months old recorded using a Synology NAS. Has been working fine until yesterday when all of a sudden the clock time is all over the place and the picture keeps doing as in the image. What causes that?

    So tried using Zoom Priority/Manual/Auto and the results are exactly the same, makes no difference. It's because I'm zoomed fully out I guess. One more unrelated question - Can the AI person tracking be set up while using the camera in scan mode? i.e, would tracking initiate while scanning...

    Zoom Priority - I had to look that up, I now know what it means and found the setting, which is off. I'll try again tonight when its dark.

    Nothing else at all, just this cam. Cam is zoomed fully out, As I zoom in the stripes disappear, so I guess it's the two darker areas of the glass that I'm seeing. Is that to be expected? I should say I think considering the lack of light the picture is pretty good, apart from the darker areas.

    Hi guys, Just wondering why I have these two left & right stripes going through the night picture? Not something I've seen on anyone else's night shots. However, I should say that where I am it is total darkness, no lights whatsoever.
