    Amazon cheating Return

I haven't bought from you... I've had to return lots of devices such as ipcams that I bought on Amazon. The middlemen were just passing on product to customers without checking quality or testing the product. On another case, I bought a Moka coffee pot that corroded. Amazon accepted the return...

    Insurance proof

I've had few issues with my wired PTZs. I've found I need to restart a couple maybe weekly. I lost IR ability on another one. As a quick fix, I installed a bank of IR lights to light up the yard. I lost communication ability on another. That one continues to patrol. I took it down and have to...

    Infrared light issue

I took the WGCC down and put small ipcam in its place. Tomorrow I'll start taking the WGCC apart. By the way, I posted earlier about building wooden mounts. Nearly 4 years and the mounts are still sturdy and don't require paint.

    Infrared light issue

I did zoom in and out all the way in my testing at night. No help.

    Infrared light issue

I disconnected from NVR, plugged into a smart switch, changed the ip address and subnet mask and gateway with SAPD so I could access the webGUI from my laptop. Everything seems right. I changed a few things to make the IR lights to go on but no luck. I can change from day to night mode with no...

    Infrared light issue

Actually I simply use the presets to make changes. That's a good suggestion. From reviewing the video on the NVR, it simply simply stopped working. I'll try logging directly into the ipcam. Thanks, Jim

    Infrared light issue

Hi folks, I have two WGCC PTZ tracking cams that have been great going on 4 years. Last month I noticed I didn't see the obvious four red lights on one of the camera faces at night. Everything else works though. Has anyone serviced or replaced the IR lights? Mine is out of warranty. Any...

    Hoping for outside corners

I have no images of the build; only these some final product. The bottom Picture is my WGCC tracking cam. Once a squirrel took a ride and fell down into my arborvitae. I know since I had the video! It leans a few degrees off center now but doesn't bother me.

    Hoping for outside corners

Happy New Year folks. I've had the cameras mounted for nearly two years and I am happy with the results. The mounts have proven to be stable even in wind and rain. I have four of these mounts around the house and they look professionally made. Mounts: I built wooden mounts from 1 by pine...

    Hoping for outside corners

Hi all, it been a while but as I said I would provide an update. All cams are wired using Cat6. I built the mounts and hung them from roof soffit to have the cameras away from the downspouts. These mounts are 14 inch long hollow wooden with a port for wires near the top rear and lower front...

    Hoping for outside corners

I'll share results with these IPcams shortly. I selected my two IPcams by comparing 20 different IPcams and optimized bang for buck. Cost does matter. I'll consider Andy at kingsecurity in the future. BTW, I was unaware of IPcamTalk.com till yesterday when I was searching for mounts.

    Hoping for outside corners

I continued searching for mounts after my post today and found nothing to meet my physical layout. I decided to design my own using PVC pipe to lock in a final shape. Once completed, I'll build the design with metal pipe. I plan to have the one pipe section angles to prevent a reflective...
