    DMSS on Android - alerts not working

    Has anyone experienced any very recent issues with DMSS on Android not issuing alerts since the update to app on 5th May? IVS Tripwire alerts were working fine (and are working fine from the same system to DMSS on iPhone), but they stopped working the following day (6th May) on Android. Thanks!

    TiOC alarm outputs

    I've been playing a bit with a TiOC 2 alarm output with a view to trigger other systems. Does anyone have experience of using alarm outputs from TiOC cameras in anger? Specifically, what's the best way to joint them to run them over a longer distance given the relatively small cable diameter?

    TiOC 2 smart illuminator

    I prefer to use IVS rules for detection purposes and they seem to work well for both human and vehicle detection based on my experience. I therefore would generally turn off SMD (and MD), but curious as to what effect that has on Smart Illuminator.

    I think I know the answer but don't have a TiOC handy to test. If I disable Smart Motion on a TiOC, that doesn't stop the smart illuminator functionality working. Is that correct (I think it is) but just need a second opinion!

    I've got a bit of problem on a PTZ where idle motion doesn't work after IVS has been tripped on a preset that's been triggered from a spotter camera. Is this a known issue? Does anyone have a work around (Timed Task?). Thanks.
