Currently 7 cameras (all Amcrest: 2 WiFi, 5 POEs) with BI running on a really old i5-2520M laptop. Just decided yesterday to reinstall an old camera to cover a gap (will be my 8th). Am quite satisfied (for now) to be enough coverage for a relatively small townhouse condo.

Somewhat related question: I have a spare unused SSD which I was planning to use to replace my HDD for my BI clips (my OS and BI are already on an SSD). Is it worth going to the trouble of swapping my drives, will I see a noticeable performance improvement doing so? I suppose one advantage is...
