One thing that you have to remember is that you may want to upgrade your camera's down the road.. I have been looking at this Switch to possibly add to my network but I too would like peoples input:
YuanLey 16 Port Gigabit PoE Switch with 2 Gigabit Uplink - YS20162G-P
Thank you for those examples, it definitely puts things in perspective...
Now just to wait for the next seasonal sale from Andy to purchase some camera's with appropriate sized sensors lol.
The red car f'd around, and it found out I guess lol.
The pickup truck definitely should have paid attention and not hit the car no doubt but yeah there was more than enough room for the DoorDash to park somewhere that didn't block someones driveway.
Now another question... from my knowledge I believe once CodeProject/BI gets a confirmation on any one of those objects it will cancel looking and push results to the alerts correct?
Now lets say we have our AI configured to confirm on various animals(including cats) and lets say someone is...
Shoot, I thought I was onto something there for a second but at the same time I knew I shouldn't get my hopes up.. I was already planning a schedule system to lower/raise the resolution depending on time of day.
Now here is a question, I have the 2431 Camera which is the 4MP camera however the resolution can be turned down on it via the camera's settings webserver... If i was to turn it down to have the same resolution as the 2241 the 2MP camera would my 4MP camera turned down perform better at night...
Within the Global Blue Iris Settings goto User and edit the user account that you log into Blue Iris with from your phone.. then make sure the Push Notifications for the proper profiles are active there...

Thank you for the tip but unfortunately that is no beuno. I added both of the Dahua Cam's IP address to the Internet Explorer mode list and tried.. same issue just goes back to 6144 but all of the other fields are changing correctly... even that field if i change it lower than 6144.
I am...
Does anyone monitor their hardware using a app to log the data at all? if so what do you use? I looked and seems like Open Hardware Monitor - Core temp, fan speed and voltages in a free software gadget was popular but not activity in a long time unfortunately...
I see some posts of people...
Yeah I am doing it via the Dahua Camera's Webserver and not via Blue Iris. The only issue is the max setting for bitrate is 6144 and if i do custom to add 8192 then it reverts back to 6144... Attached is what the settings are for video, also is there any particular settings for Audio that you...
Awesome thank you for the wonderful insights, it definitely helps a new user like myself to understand, also the bitrate of 8192 is correct for my 4MP camera as well or should that be lower?
Now would this also apply to other Dahua/OEM Cameras? I have a Loryta IPC-T2431T-AS-2.8mm-S2 from Andy at EmpireTech and I wouldn't mind it being dialed in as well. I understand not to expect alot from this budget camera but if I could get the most out of it with settings that would be great...
