IPC-HDW5231R-ZE Rhea V2.800.0000016.0.R.200430 Latest new firmware

Sounds like you did a factory default if the IP changed. You need the config tool to change the IP. Config Tool or plug in the camera directly to a laptop, change your laptop's adapter settings so it matches the new IP of the camera . Then log into the camera and change the IP from the gui.

    IPC-HFW5231E-Z12 LPR from 137 feet

@bigredfish You and @tibimakai have similar settings so I'll start with what you have and turn on HLC at 50, and see what happens. Or should I go higher? Will report back when I get some examples. Not a lot of traffic on my street which is good. Oh yeah, gotta have all the angle covered and...

    IPC-HFW5231E-Z12 LPR from 137 feet

Thanks, I'll try those settings and see how the image looks. Not sure if I need an additional illuminator, at least I would like to avoid adding one. The front of my house already looks crazy as is at night with the IR lights, lol. I also have turrets at the corners next the the LPR cams. Then...

    IPC-HFW5231E-Z12 LPR from 137 feet

So I finally mounted my two LPR cams, one Z12 and one Z12E, on the new house. Both were purchased through @EMPIRETECANDY The settings from the original post were great starting points. As a result the daytime shots look great but I feel I can improve on my night captures. Although I would have...

    4.6.4 - October 21, 2017

@bp2008 4.6.4.3 is out I do not have any 4k cameras so I'm not sure if it has addressed some of your concerns. I did noticed a big drop in CPU usage as well when I changed 4 starlight turrets I have to "Limit decoding unless required". And I did not see the cameras going black or see any...

    Review-Dahua Starlight IPC-HDW5231R-ZE 800 meter capable ePOE

I like the look of these better than the hdw5231r-z. Glad I held off buying more of those. I just ordered a few of these even though I won't be needing extended distance it can handle. Curious to see how it compares to the other in my application. Thanks for doing the review!

40% seems kinda high for 4 cameras not recording Are you using the trial or licensed Blue Iris? What frame rates do you have set on the cameras and are you using direct to disc recording? Follow those tips in the link posted.

Your Discovery/ONVIF listening port is still 8999 in BI. Change that to 80. Then click find/inspect.
