    OpenVPN woes

I tried that and it didn't load anything. Chrome just said 'This site can't be reached'. When you said 'bi_server" are you actually saying bi_server or the IP address for the server. I tried both but neither worked.

    OpenVPN woes

Ty got it. So for everyone using the BI mobile app and running some time of VPN, do you set up two different servers (onfigurations) on the app? 1) for specially when you're out the house running openVPN and 2) then a different server config for when you're at home on your own wifi?

    OpenVPN woes

Ok guys thanks for your input. I just bought the BI app for the IPAD. (the one that's $10). Can you guys point me in the direction of how to set up BI on the desktop so I can use the app from the Ipad. I will in the meantime try my GoogleFu but any help to speed things along is appreciated :)...

    OpenVPN woes

Hola, Been working on getting my VPN up and running. I've used Randy's guide (OpenVPN on a Asus router) and the Dual Nic guide (Dual Nic Guide). So my problem is: I can connect to my BI computer using OpenVPN just fine but I can't access any of the cameras. One of the camera's IP is...

    Local Console Login?

I ended up running task scheduler and setting up a .BAT file (made with notepad) to run at startup. I guess the only problem is it not running as a service and it crashes. Hmm…

    Local Console Login?

Been following this thread trying to figure it out. I am running Win 10 Home. So I wanted to get a straight answer here. To get BI to run as a service, you HAVE to set a password for your windows login so you can click on that option under startup that says "Run as a window service". I guess...

Yeah the Z12E is a no brainer. I guess sometimes in the tech world, I get carried away with trying to get the latest 'tech' and forget that sometimes there are products out there that are superior even if their dated. On a side note I was trying to decide between the HFW5442E-ZE and...

Hey Guys and....gals? I was knee-deep into the security camera world thanks to this awesome site. However life happened and now I'm trying to get my feet wet again. I'm hoping to maybe get pointed in the right direction if anyone has a sec. The only thing have is the ColorVU camera which for...

    Hikvision ColorVu + 4K (DS-2CD2087G2-L)

Has anyone mounted this camera under a soffit so it looks like the one in the picture. I rather not have to cut a hole through the brick wall. I'm assuming the 2087 has an elbow joint that turns 90 degrees like this HK cam in the picture. Thanks.
