    Agreed. I think Marie was troubled by the fact that the same problem occurs when the camera's live feed is being viewed (presumably directly from the camera's web interface). Your explanation also applies to that situation.

    Lost contact from app to server

    I run into this same problem on rare occasion. With your phone connected to your WiFi network, try accessing your Blue Iris web server at its local IP address from your phone's web browser. Likely it won't be able to establish a connection either. If so, try restarting your Netgear modem/router.
