    Raspbery Pi2 Camera Monitor w/Rpisurv

I tried using SFTP SSH and I am able to connect. I can go to etc/rpisurv I then can open the yml file but I can't edit it. I am using my user pi to connect. I assume this is a permission issue again. If I use the command sudo nano it does open the yml in putty but it is very difficult to edit it.

I can't seem to edit the display1.yml file. I have setup samba using the following steps. In the console, type sudo apt install -y samba. This will install the Samba package. Once installed, type in sudo nano /etc/samba/smb.conf. The will open the file smb.conf in the console, ready for...

Memory creeping on Intel Graphics 530

So why is this a constant battle? I have been using BI for several years now on over 20 machines. Most work perfectly however when they don't work it is ALWAYS a memory leak. I have one that is on the latest version of BI 5.3.8.15 and it keeps creeping up till it crashes. Have 20 cams with 16Gb...

BI 4 & 5 Both have Mem Leak with I5-8400 using suggested vc driver. Suggestions?

So I did a reset of this pc. Worked for a few months and now the system is chewing up ram. Takes like 20 min to use up 16GB... I am on 7323 driver with an 8th gen cpu. Running 5.2.2.2 x64 as of today. Is there no other trouble shooting to be done to figure out why this happens?

BI 4 & 5 Both have Mem Leak with I5-8400 using suggested vc driver. Suggestions?

That is definitely an option. I would prefer to find what is causing the issue instead of just wiping it clean and starting over. It is a 6 hour trip to get to this location.

BI 4 & 5 Both have Mem Leak with I5-8400 using suggested vc driver. Suggestions?

Installed the latest version of BI and this machine still continues to be un-usable. The memory usage just keeps rising until the machine is not usable. Interesting thing is I have at least 12 more machines with the exact same hardware and no issues. Any more suggestions?

BI 4 & 5 Both have Mem Leak with I5-8400 using suggested vc driver. Suggestions?

I am aware it is a video driver issue. I am using the recommended driver per the wiki. Memory Leak: Quick Sync (Hardware Acceleration) 8th Generation (Coffee Lake) Driver Version 24.20.100.6194 is known to be good: <link no longer works> 24.20.100.6229 works too: <link no longer works>...

BI 4 & 5 Both have Mem Leak with I5-8400 using suggested vc driver. Suggestions?

I have a NVR that was running BI 4 that I could not stop the RAM from climbing over 14GB on BI and crashing the system. I upgraded to BI 5 to see if that would fix the problem it did not. It takes roughly 2.5 hours for BI to kill my system. I am viewing the cameras locally on a TV. I have 24 Two...
