    Sorry, I do not know. But there is a surefire way to find out the Dahua equivalent. These cameras pull a script file using TFTP upon boot.     Amcrest and Dahua

    Amcrest lags behind Dahua on firmware updates. My IP4M-1053E had 2.422 whereas the equivalent Dahua has 2.623. I followed the unbricking thread to turn the Amcrest into a Dahua. @techhobbyist, I would not be surprised if flashing to the latest Dahua FW solved your motion detection problems.

    Amcrest PTZ camera IP4M-1053 flash to Dahua

    PS: I was able to get it done via TFTP from the unbricking guide. Went from Amcrest firmware to a V2.4 (unsigned) Dahua firmware and then upgraded via Web UI to 2.623. And ... H.265 is now working in Milestone XProtect using this camera. The model number is still showing as an Amcrest model...
