Interesting. The sound always used was set in Blue Iris, under the camera "on alert" tab. Apparently BI uploads that sound along with the clip, or I should say used to before the latest issues. The sound was not one of the ones listed on the phone.
Yes, push notifications working again BUT I notice that "custom sound" for notifications is not. It give the standard sound on the phone when the notification arrives. My bet is the sound issue will resolved at the same time as the 3d image attachment fix comes.
Seen your post and updated to 5.7.9.2 I can confirm push notifications are working again on my android !!!!!!!! No snapshot pic in the notification but I am not complaining one bit.
Same push notification issue here on Android pixel phone. I spend several hours this morning on settings and tried two phones. As a last resort I decided to look here and low and behold !! It is not just me.

Fenderman, you were right on the money ! It was indeed paused ! I have no idea how it happened, I didn't even know about that feature. Blue Iris is so powerful with so many features that I only use the basics and am very pleased.

To be clear, are you speaking of the pause button that appears for each camera or a global one? All 3 cams are frozen, on the live screen (not playback or alerts). There is no pause on the live screen viewing unless I am misunderstanding you.
Never used the pause button that I know of.... BUT would the "pause" remain in effect even after a cold reboot or for that part updating to a newer version even?
WIll give it a try tomorrow for kicks. Don't have high hopes though.... video stream must be ok or I couldn't watch remotely. It appears to be something in the overall BI video integrated driver interfacing.
I wouldn't mind uninstalling and re-installing BI except for the probably 100 or...
I verified the video driver has not changed since original installation. Other software I tested runs fine on the same computer, even graphic intensive stuff like cad/cam. Normally the computer is dedicated to BI only though.
