    Interesting. Looking at the Acupick 2.0 announcement page undefined - Dahua International they list NVR5-EI, NVR5-XI, NVR6-XI as having Acupick 2.0 Are you saying I have Acupick 1.0 over Web, but Acupick 2.0 on the console?

    In my setup I do IVS on the camera and facial recognition and facial detection on the recorder. Seems to do the job. Don’t forget to create a facial database and a passerby database!

    No hdmi involved as I’d have to take a photo of the console monitor. Those were screen grabs of the chrome browser. Not sure why your firmware is so old. Why not update it? DH_NVR6XXX-I_MultiLang_V4.000.0000000.6.R.240721 Looks to be from July 2024, much newer than 18months.

    Yes I believe its using the latest UI from Dahua: Like all of the Dahua UI's there are quite a few places where it still prompts to download the IE browser addon. I only run Mac so thats a dead end for me. I dont believe the -XI is different from the -EI except for being able to do more...

    Shameless plug for the NVR5208-8P-XI. Its like the -EI but has support for more features on more of the 8 cameras. Unfortunately Andy doesn't sell them, I imported my own. Mine setup is plug and play now with a mixture of 5422 cameras. It took a while to get the features working the right way...

    NVR continually contacts many Dahua Websites

    I only allow NTP and Apple push notification connections outbound. Everything else requires me to VPN into the cctv subnet. Makes me feel better when im asleep :)
