    Intel Xeon QuickSync CPUs

Hello all, I found a location on Intel's website that allows me to filter on Xeon chips that have QuickSync built in. Does this means that these Xeon chips will work as well as or better than I3, i5 and i7s that also have quicksync for BlueIris? Thanks a bunch and happy new year.

    Trouble fishing cat6 cables

I used it again to create a hook grabber thingy. I tape a curled hanger and the camera to the end of a 10 foot PVC pipe and went into a finished wall to find the other end of a fish line. It was 8 feet or so away from the small entry point I created (1.25 inch in diameter). Couldn't have done...

    Trouble fishing cat6 cables

Well I have some great news. I was able to use the camera to find the choke point. Without the camera I wouldn't have been able to do it. I used the camera 4 different ways: 1) Attached the camera to 10 feet of CPVC and used the piping to get the camera from the basement upto the 2nd story...

Yeah - I was worried about this too. I tried this one instead. Hoping it works a little better.

    Trouble fishing cat6 cables

Hello all, Does anyone know of a pin hole camera that I can use to see what is inside a wall? I am constantly catching on something and am not sure what it is? I am trying to use the "tunnel" that my HVAC return uses since it connects the attic to the basement and is a great conduit to run...

Mischa, This is a motorized zoom camera with the ability to manually change the Pan and Tilt settings.

    Dahua Starlight Varifocal Turret (IPC-HDW5231R-Z)

Anyone have an opinion on this question? I have attached some images to show what I mean. When I say the image is rotated, I mean the setting in BI. For the camera, the IR emitter underneath the lens is camera at 0 degrees. Camera rotated 270 is IR emitters to the left of the lens (3...

Ideal camera for a small choke point

These are pictures from the elbow facing the house. I wanted to put the camera right over the door, but it will not look very good so I have agreed to hang it from the ceiling right above the door. It is 9.5 - 10 feet off the ground

I zoomed in a little in hopes of getting a little more details from the framing.

Ideal camera for a small choke point

Here is an example of the area with me holding the camera at roughly the location and angle where it will be installed. I obviously need to cut back the tree on the right side. This is the camera at default settings with the image rotated 270 degrees (this keeps the IR emitters furthest from...

    Camera recommendation for living room

Very good - makes a lot of sense. Thanks a lot. Said another way - the living room is not where you want to be identifying the intruder. That needs to be done before they get in the house.

Can you please expand a little bit here? What types of things would be wrong with his surveillance system?

Is there a celing mount bracket compatible with PFA137?

Maybe I missed a suggestion here. What did you have in mind with a "conduit"?

Is there a celing mount bracket compatible with PFA137?

I have seen some ceiling mount solutions that look really nice. Either way if I have the wire from the ceiling outside of the wall, then I will have a bit of an eyesore. I absolutely want this to look nice which is why I am looking at other options. I have a PFB203W in hand and have been...
