Has anyone got the Ezviz DB1C to work with the call function(by this I mean when someone presses the doorbell button) & 2 phones successfully?
I've used this doorbell with the Hik Connect app (and several Hikvision Cameras & NVR) for some time now. I'm not sure if the call function ever worked...
I just use a 12v AC coil relay DPDT in the circuit.
This allows 2 devices to be triggered from the relay contacts.
I use 1 for a chime and 1 for an alarm input trigger.
It would be nice if someone from Ezviz or hikvision read this forum and could explain how the power kit works exactly. It all...
Been on about about a week now with no phantom chime ringing problems. Obviously the LEDs are on during the night.
The DB1C seems to get more false motion alarms compared to the older DB1 with PIR sensor....
Following on from my post here a while ago. I've recently received a replacement for my suspected faulty DB1 doorbell/power kit.
The replacement is a DB1C which seems to be working ok so far. Looking inside the power kit, it does seem to be slightly different from the last one, although it does...
Does yours have 4 resistors missing? My suspected faulty power kit only has 3 missing.
Can't see any other PCB changes. I was thinking the different codes were just production dates and there might have been a production fault with missing resistors.
I'm waiting for replacement so I'll have to...
I would guess 1) faulty power kit or 2) faulty DB1, open up the power kit, does it look like there's any components missing on the PCB.
I was chasing a similar problem and after swapping DB1 and power kit between 2 locations the problem also moved. I suspect it was the power kit after opening it...
I have 2 Ezviz DB1 systems using exactly the same 16v transformer and chimes.
1 of them setup over a year ago and works fine. The other setup 6 months ago and the chime will ring at random for no reason, sometimes after several days.
I swapped only the doorbell and power kit around and the...
Yes DB1 = 851/MB65 diode rectifier
L830CP I think î was the one on the bottom left of pic, black colour about the same size as side rectifier, but only 2 connections.
My theory was that the bridge rectifier creates DC from AC to power the IC circuits.
I didn't think power kit is used if you have...
That very interesting, but I can't understand why the sine wave is changing. Is your power kit connected correctly - in parallel with your chime solenoid? Or in series
?
Sorry I don't have access to take more pics of the power kit at the moment.
But I did take some notes:
Components:
LM2903 dual differential comparitor
LCB710 solid state relay
L830CP unknown
851/MB65 diode rectifier
1.5a fuse I think
I did eventually wire up an ac relay DPDT so I could also...
Inside the Ezviz DB1 power kit for anyone interested. It's installed across the solenoid wires when using a mechanical chime. For me the chime solenoid buzzed if it's not connected. It seems to allow some of the current to bypass the solenoid to stop it buzzing(and maybe burning out)...
Anyone know where to manually download the previous firmware for EVIZ DB1 doorbell as I have some problems and would like to go back. Can't seem to find anything on the internet..
Has anyone with EZVIZ DB1 upgraded to firmware v5.2.4 190708?
When I use Hik-Connect and press playback from a PIR notification message, it comes up with "video playback failed. Error code:"
I'm sure it worked ok with the previous firmware...
It does however work ok with EZVIZ app..
I'm using...
