    Sadly I can't find a way for this to make a connection via putty, bought other new wires and nothing, try from desktop and laptop I leave you here these photos to know if I am failing in something? Ty.

    Yes but it's not working for me, I order a new cable Null Modem from Amazon with next day delivery. tomorrow Sunday I will continue this project when I receive the new cable/adapter and I will let you know results. Ty.

But I can't make a connection with the NVR through Putty COM Port identified, drivers installed etc trying now from a laptop, same result (tried first from a desktop) All Win 10 Pro, yesterday at some point I could get a connection with putty once...

    Hi, I have a Hikvision DS-7716NI-I4 / 16P I install the latest firmware (NVR_K51_BL_ML_STD_V4.40.015_200616) this worked without problems for 2 days, on the third day Nvr disappeared from the map, I have tried TFTP (ip-192.0.0.128 etc... without any result, my NVR was on firmware 3.4.92...

    Did you just use a usb to R232 wire behind your NVR? and Putty?
