    PoE camera with Eero Pro

ah got it thanks. I'll likely remove the other UniFi stuff apart from the switch itself, hopefully that will fix it.

    PoE camera with Eero Pro

Thanks, yes. Well its working OK as I can now see the camera. But getting it setuip for remote viewing isn't working now. I've never had this error when it shows 0.0.0.0

    PoE camera with Eero Pro

Hi, definitely something isn't set up right. Because in BlueIris the remote configuration wizard shows it as 0.0.0.0 Do you mean the PC LAH (taken from an /ipconfig on the Ethernet IPv4 address 192.1XX.X.XXX) or the BlueIris login page (172.XX.XX.X)

    PoE camera with Eero Pro

Hello, thanks again. I hooked the camera up with the old extender and changed it back to DHCP on the cam itself (it was down as static IP). It changed the IP address of the cam, but when I did a blueiris search it came up right away! Should I reserve that IP in Eero then?

    PoE camera with Eero Pro

Thanks. Yes, the cam is set to 192.168.1.109, and a 5 digit Port (IIRC I set that manually in the camera configuration before so it didn't conflict). I did a reservation for the Home PC in Eero. I even tried the Dahua app (DMSS). It shows the camera by searching. But once I get to the login it...

    PoE camera with Eero Pro

Thank you for the detailed questions, see below. Is your BI server plugged into the Unifi switch or the router that the Unifi is plugged into? - My router is connected to the UniFi switch. My Home PC (which runs BI Server) is plugged into the UniFi directly. The Eero is plugged directly into...

    PoE camera with Eero Pro

I have a Dahua dome PoE camera which sits on the front of the house. It has a PoE injector that has been running fine into a wifi extender (that has an ethernet outlet). This connects into my local network so i can see the camera on Blue Iris. I have two Eero 6 pros and bought the 3rd one to...

BlueIris and AT&T fiber remote access

Ugh, I think I figured it out and it was simple. I had to set a static IP and in doing so (using the portforward app) it told me the current IP I had was being used somewhere else. So I allowed it to assign a different IP and the remote access worked right away! Thanks for the help, hopefully...

BlueIris and AT&T fiber remote access

Thanks. Ugh, it's not getting better lol I used the instructions here to put the Pace router in bridge mode (by selecting the Google Wifi router into DMZ+ mode so the traffic is routed through it). The Google Wifi remains in NAT (standard) mode. my IP on doyouseeme is 107.128.202.XXX on port...

BlueIris and AT&T fiber remote access

Thanks. The Google Wifi is separate from the Pace router - so I assume I would just have to do the port forward for the Pace router (as its all hard wired) or both? (because I access it at home via wifi)? Should I disable something on the google router maybe as its not acting as a router...

BlueIris and AT&T fiber remote access

So good news is I moved house - faster internet, and my cameras are much neater now. Downside is - I can't get blueiris working (out of the home network) again. I have AT&T gigabit fiber and blueiris installed on a server (windows 10). I can get to the cameras on the home network here ok...

Hikvision (PoE) mount in standard wall box

Thanks for the reply. After much drilling of holes I got it all mounted! I'll take another picture of it up on the house but it looks great and very tidy. Now I just have to get the pesky port forwarding / IP reservations working so I can get blueiris working against outside of the home. It's...

Hikvision (PoE) mount in standard wall box

Hi I have three cameras with a mount similar to this On the external house, I have installed three outlets (well, the builder has) which has the cable installed here Is there a cover I can buy that would allow me to just use two of the screws rather than all three, which should be...

    Help with jumpy video

Thanks. So my cameras are set in their web interface to 20fps. So I should match the iframe to 20 also? Then just add 3 seconds pre-trigger in blue iris?
