Got this all set up and running the other day, very happy. But the alerts when I double click them to go to the alert time it takes me to the wrong time in the video feed. Example the alert is at 9:15, so I click the alert image and it takes me to 9:10 where there is no activity.
Anyone else...
I see what you mean, but the webUI no longer lets you see just the flags. Its alerts or clips, so all the false triggers are there. Same goes for the BI app (android version anyway). So i see a whole lot of alerts, and not one of them is actually a positive.
Thanks to Chris for getting the trigger cancels to work. My only remaining gripe is that i have to use the "trigger an alert list image" to get the alerts to work. Then when viewing the alerts, all the still images are in there (all the false positives i mean).
Is there any way to get rid of...
How do we get the alert cancels to work? I have gone back to the single camera setup (from the duplicate camera setup), and I have the timeline full of all the false alerts.
this is what i have in the trigger cancel box:
http://localhost:80/admin?camera=[camera]&trigger&user={user}&pw={passwort}
I wish blue iris would add the ability to record only the substream continuously and then use the hd stream for alerts. Would make it all so much slicker.
Feature suggestion: Add some kind of zoning in the AI tool.
Use case: I want detections for people walking past, but I would also want an additional event (via mqtt or some such) when that person walks into my driveway.
I think I may be able to set this up as a second camera in BI and achieve...
OK, after running this setup for a couple of weeks now, I have some questions/points. I have used both the dual camera setup, and the single camera setup.
Dual cameras:
pro:
- Can merge multiple short events into one event. So say someone is coming and going out of view a few times in quick...
Hey mate, very happy with how its running. Haven't seen any processing delays at all. Haven't had to reboot or restart anything, seems very stable.
I think I still need to tweak some of the motion settings in BI for the indoor cameras though, but that is a BI setup issue for me, nothing to do...
Fresh install of buster lite (with desktop). Then did the update and upgrade process.
i followed the instructions here - Using DeepStack on Raspberry PI - ALPHA
via SSH i ran:
wget https://deepquest.sfo2.digitaloceanspaces.com/deepstack/install-deepstack.sh
and then i had to bash...
Legend, that startup script worked. The boxes are in the correct places on the images when reviewing them in the AI Tool.
Those times were me manually triggering the streams, so no, not a heavy load. Something seems to be triggering multiple images from the 1080 camera though, and i'm getting...
Tried out my Pi4 2GB RAM with Intel NCS2 and i have to say i'm pretty impressed. Unfortunately there is no easy way to get the service to auto start on boot or anything just yet, but the processing times are very quick.
Image processing times are between 66ms ( 640x352 image from my reolink...
Those are some good times, and thanks for the advice. I have been offered a i5 NUC for a good price, hence my indecision.
Good to hear, thanks. I'll have a look at how to get it all set up. Planning to run it headless.
Yeah, the more I read, the more I worry about the maturity. I know it's free and all, but perhaps the tensorflow AI is a bit more mature at this stage. I should have held off on the NCS2, but lesson learnt
