just tested it out, the power difference between the sub stream and the main stream is really significant on a i5 4590 cpu and no dedicated gpu. from around 55% usage on full speed (1080p, 4k bitrate, 25fps, h265) to about 13% on half speed cpu (d1 (i think it is dvd resolution with 4:3 ratio)...

Thanks for the reply. In the meantime, i have checked the option for dst and the problem is solved. The weird thing is, even when i don't have either or both dst and/or ntp settings on, it still changes the internal camera time. It is annoying when viewing the the recordings through pcnvr...

sorry if this has been posted already, but my IPC-HDBW8232EP-Z is always showing the wrong time. I have not enabled dst time, but I don't understand why the camera always changes to +1 gmt without dst while I set the time to +1 gmt with dst. no matter what i try, it always shows the time minus...

don't pin me on this, but I need to know where to look for that. I did something like that in the smart pss software,not in the nvr yet. I still need to figure out how to use all those extra functions.

when you are in europe, or at least the netherlands, the tax free option is great as mentioned before by others. count on 2 weeks and you will be able to play with your new bought camera, but it saved me around 20% tax. Definitely worth the extra days for shipping :).

as far as i know, the camera that you picked out works fine. it also depends on how big the area is that you need to cover. and if you need to zoom or not. the price of the camera and a switch should not be near 500 dollar, as the 2 camera's should cost around 320 dollar and a poe switch is...

Thanks for the suggestion, i just tried the app gdmss lite and it works well if you only need to watch the streams. I cannot zoom in or out. And the app gives me a way lower quality than tiny cam pro. Great when you need to watch your data limit, but not handy if you want to record the stream...
