    If you plug a laptop into one of the Poe ports you can get to the nvrs IP address on the Poe switch i.e. 10.1.1.1. I could also do this through my switch when I had the camera vlan plugged into one of the Poe switch ports.

    Same here I was going nuts because I made a seperate IP Camera vlan on my switch and plugged that port into one of the poe ports and could not hit any of the cameras but I could hit the NVR's IP address on it's built in switch. I think to do the browser redirect they're doing some port...

    The 5216-16p-4ks2e I got from you last week also does the same thing. I didn't have to activate one camera or set an IP, and I could access each ip camera's internal menu from the same spot as in this review.
