I think i'm about ready to throw mine in the dumpster... It will work after a power cycle for about 12 hours and then go dead again. I know buying chinese parts are risky but I got less than two months of actual service out of this one. Guess I will have to replace it with a fixed position...

I'm using the power splitter, it was fine until the cold hit. Ill try a reset this weekend, will have to move some cables around as we are on a different IP range than factory.

We have been having snow and low temps 1f this morning. -f at night. My Mini PTZ keeps resetting itself, when it does that it looses where it should be pointing and I have to manually reset that. Any ideas why it would be locking up and restarting? Running V2.0.1 Build 201607221508S I do...

I was wondering if there is a way to set the speed that the PTZ moves the camera? I can do that when I connect directly to the MiniPTZ, but when I use the BI it is only full speed and makes it kinda jerky. Attached is a video showing how its too fast.

Haven't had that problem, I did have a problem where the focus was soft. But I was able to upgrade the firmware and it now is perfectly in focus and sharp.

I have been searching for hours looking for the root telnet password. Any tips on finding it?
