    I don't believe it to be a networking issue. I have two other cameras on the same switch. I also just plugged in the camera to the router using a POE injector, and the results are the same. Camera has power but is not sending any data.

    I cannot access it from a browser or ping it. It does not seem to be connecting at all.

    I did, and it was wired to 568B standard. However, the camera acts the same way when plugged into switch with store bought cable.

    Hey guys, I just received a brand new DS-2CD2T42WD-I8. It is connected to a TP-Link TL-SG1016PE. Once connected, the IR lights illuminate for maybe 10 seconds and then cycle off. On the switch the light is illuminated showing it is sending power, but the data transmission light is not...
