HikVision Password Reset / Flash new FW via RS232
Update only gets as far as file transfer complete. I am not receiving the update process complete or whatever it is message. That's what makes me think maybe it wrong firmware. If I try it in SADP I get device rejected, if I try it in ivms I get incorrect password.- deanfourie

Ok im still nutting away at this LOL. Ive tried multiple firmware upgrades via TFTP with no luck. I dont get the system upgrade successful. So maybe I have the wrong firmware? Ok thanks for all the replys. Still no luck. Have done FW upgrade over TFTP, tried connecting in IVMS with the Verification Code, still says either incorrect username or password or device rejected. Any other suggestions? Really dont want to bin it. Thanks- deanfourie
