i currently have Virgin Media Modem > USG > POE switch 1 with 2 IP cams and 1 Unifi AP connected > cable running to loft space attached to another POE switch connected to NVR and another unifi AP where would the USW flex go?

thanks @bigredfish I couldn't get it to work. A friend has lent me a different Dahua NVR and with that it all works fine. When I get the energy will go back and see if I can get the old nvr working again. cheers

done a hard reset - but still cant get green status thru web NVR setup

TX10 Impact bit worked today- thanks all. Unfortunately the hard reset still not doing what it needs to do. NVR is seeing cam but status still red.

drilling it out sounds like i will F*** it up Going to try impact driver to see if i can get it with brute power ( i sprayed it with lubricant yesterday )

thanks - will spray it with some lube. I think the person who put this up has cross-threaded it and used an impact driver to jam it in. thinking i may need to drill it out? what size drill bit is advised? then replacing the screw....Is m5 x10mm ok?

I am trying to do a hard reset but I cant undo the screw to get to the camera I have broken 4 tools trying to unscrew this. any ideas ...

Hi I have a Dahua NVR and 2 x IPC-HDW5231R Just got a Unifi USG but have an unmanaged Netgear POE Switch To improve security is it advisable to create a VLAN and stick the Dahua gear in it? Any guides on how to do this please? Or what is the best way to stay safe. cheers
