Review of the Hikvision OEM model IPC-T2347G-LU 'ColorVu' IP CCTV camera.

I think there has been some confusion. My post was primarily an initial follow-up to recent requests for a comparison between my 4mm ColorVu and Varifocal IPC-D5442E-ZE cameras (not old dahua cameras). I’m a bit behind schedule on testing, so I wanted to offer my first impressions. The...

Review of the Hikvision OEM model IPC-T2347G-LU 'ColorVu' IP CCTV camera.

To be honest, I only took the risk of taking my own camera apart, because I didn't fancy sending it back to China - only to face the risk of import charges on a replacement that could potentially have the same issues. I haven't yet done anywhere near enough testing, but comparing the ColorVu...

Review of the Hikvision OEM model IPC-T2347G-LU 'ColorVu' IP CCTV camera.

Hi. I'm currently on the road, but in short - adjusting the lens requires taking the whole camera apart to get at the lens (which its self is locked in place with 3 blobs of glue that you need to remove). I found it easy enough, but it does require a lot of care! Oh, and the camera does have a...

Review of the Hikvision OEM model IPC-T2347G-LU 'ColorVu' IP CCTV camera.

Sorry for the slow reply - I've been away over the holiday season. I will be working with the cameras over the next week or two, so I'll try to put something useful together for everyone.

Review of the Hikvision OEM model IPC-T2347G-LU 'ColorVu' IP CCTV camera.

OK, I've managed to remove the glue and adjusting the focus was quite easy. Everything is now great and equal to the sample image provided by @harb :) Now that's sorted, I'll finally be able to compare it to the Dahua D5442E-ZE. I don't know if anybody else has both of these cameras, but the...

Thank you very much! That’s definitely nothing like the image I have.

Review of the Hikvision OEM model IPC-T2347G-LU 'ColorVu' IP CCTV camera.

Could somebody with this camera please post a couple of full resolution daylight screenshots from this camera? Also, if you have the 4mm version - could you please let me know at what distance objects are at their sharpest? I received a 4mm T2347G-LU from Andy at the end of last week, but...

Hikvision DS-2CD4B26FWD-IZS blurry when zoomed out

Yes, under system/Maintenance (I think), you should find the option to reset everything other than network and passwords etc.

Hikvision DS-2CD4B26FWD-IZS blurry when zoomed out

I will add that your second photo (the best sample from the “defective” camera) does not look anything like mine did - mine went straight from the top image to the bottom one. Your middle photo looks like a combination of some WB/exposure/brightness problem, possibly caused by the the relocation...

Hikvision DS-2CD4B26FWD-IZS blurry when zoomed out

I had one of these Darkfighter cameras about 4 years ago. I can’t swear that it was the identical model (I have 4A26 in my mind), but it had a similar problem. If i recall correctly, i could zoom out until 2.8mm was displayed on the screen, but then it would continue a fraction further and lose...

    Review-AI NVR 4216-I

Yes, I’m certainly struggling. The fact that I’ve found two data sheets, which appear to show the same model numbers but differing face recognition and ANPR features leave me very confused.

    Review-AI NVR 4216-I

The more I look into this, the more confused I get. Could it be that Dahua are marketing the same product with different features in different regions (using the same model names)?... Product 1: NVR-4216-16P-I (Lite-AI Series) This data sheet mentions picture stream recognition (with FD...
