    I will try it. I have another DB1C with the original transformer running right now with an older firmware, IR light is on and active, still didn't crash. Hopefully is will work. Thanks!

    I have a "Ring" 24v transformator, why? Do you think that is the problem with losing connection? Unstable powersupply? Keep in mind that my original question is about the latest firmware with a hikvison nvr ;-)
