I'm on win 8.1 but had the same issue on Win10 (the high CPU usage when playback tab was enabled) and losing cams if it shuts down poorly even when you shut it down normally, it goes on a HIGH CPU usage before going off so you never know if it got shut down poorly or not, until you turn it back...

I have been using this since 2018, had this issues for 5 years, tried updating the 2.0.0.1 version and i had 100 cams and it deleted all their passwords after import so have avoided updating since, to add to that problem, if i add a cam via SN and it doesn't connect, then it will keep trying...

Get k-Meleon browser version 75 i think, still plays dahua and hikvision cams, since its a mozilla offshoot, i trust it more than IE or any of those chrome based browsers..
