New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

I use my cameras with Blue Iris so I normally firewall them off from the internet but apparently I forgot to add this one to the firewall rules last year when I installed it. I am guessing that it decided to update itself as it suddenly stopped working today. After a bunch of troubleshooting...

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

Just tried it but it says "incorrect user name or password". I'm using the same password to connect from Blue Iris, though, and that works fine. Hrm.

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

I'm unable to connect to my LaView with iVMS-4200. iVMS can see the doorbell on the network but when I add it and click on Remote Configuration I get an error that says: Doorbell Logins failed. Error Code HCNetSDK.dll[73].(Socket connection break.) I'm entering the username "admin" and the...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

I installed that firmware tonight on my LTS. I did it using NVMS7000 instead of fumbling with an SD card. Worked perfectly. Now the web interface works so I can disable the stupid "Camera 01" part of the OSD. Blue Iris is also able to query/config the device via ONVIF now. Something...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Maybe this isn't news to anybody else but I was surprised to learn that all of the apps for these connect to the same back-end system. Hik-Connect, LTS Connect and ClareVision Plus are just EZVIZ clients. You can use any of the different apps with the same credentials. I discovered this...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

As expected, the IR glare off of the bricks is throwing off the exposure balance. I'll have to cut a block of wood or something to let me mount it better. Daytime image isn't bad.

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

I received mine yesterday. Installed it today. I'm worried about how it's going to behave in IR mode tonight because my doorway means that the right 25% of the image is blocked by the brick facade on the front of my house. I'm sure that's going to result in all kinds of glare, too. I might...

    stunnel

I'll add some details to this discussion... I could NOT get this working and today I figured out why. I had the non-encrypted port set up on Port 80. This worked fine for almost everything except the ActiveX control. I could use the Java viewer over SSL but the ActiveX control would fail. I...

    Version 4.1.1

Yes, I did. The control I have installed is version 4.0.0.4.

    Version 4.1.1

Has anyone been able to get the ActiveX control to work over SSL? I upgraded from BI3 to BI4 specifically because of this feature but it doesn't seem to work for me. I only allow SSL through the firewall but I can't connect with the ActiveX control from outside my network. The BI page loads...
