    Just a quick follow-up, the transformer was the issue. A 16V-10VA tranfsormer is able to carry the load of two cameras.

    I believe that the issue is my doorbell transformer, it isn't sized appropriately. Only a 10V 5VA unit, likely not enough to power two cameras, but sufficient for one, hence why they drop as soon as a 2nd is connected. I am on my way to purchase a new transformer, hopefully this is an easy fix.
