I got a 1.0 from someone I know coming for 110$ CAD. For that price, I'll start with the V1.0 and pick up the Full Color 2.0 or TIOC 2.0 when those come down in price. I'm biased towards "value" vs latest and greatest.

I had a neighbor's lawnmower take out a window on one of my vehicles over the weekend too (threw a rock while pushing it across the driveway). The 1080p camera still was able to figure out what happened. The 5MP would have done nicely in this scenario.

As an update, I'm picking up a IPC-HDW3549H-AS-PV. If the image is too dark with the 5MP, I have a well lit area I can move it to.
