    Amcrest 2MP Outdoor PTZ POE+ Alarm/Audio specs?

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B095XCJWRM As usual the chinese manual that comes with this thing lists nothing about the specs of the alarm or 2 way audio. Where can I find this information? Are the alarm wires just a low voltage relay? And what is the audio impendence/level? Do the mic and...

Multiple Amcrest cams went offline with same error at same time today?!?

So I was able to replicate the malfunction. Seems all it takes is entering the following settings for time and waiting a couple days... And yes, the Reboot command does work! Good job Jack! The Amcrest support guy wasn't even aware of that.

Multiple Amcrest cams went offline with same error at same time today?!?

Excellent find. Thank you. Now I just have to replicate the malfunction again so I can test whether the API is still accessible. It was the ntp server and settings that populate the field by default. (clock.isc.org) I have tried to replicate the malfunction on my own cameras with no success...

Multiple Amcrest cams went offline with same error at same time today?!?

A remote reboot and a physical reset are not the same thing. Remote as in no physical access.

Multiple Amcrest cams went offline with same error at same time today?!?

Unfortunately I cannot revert the setting because I cannot login. Does anyone know how to remotely reboot these cameras without using the web UI? I did not detect any open telnet port but perhaps there is a way using the RTSP/ONVIF/TCP port?

Multiple Amcrest cams went offline with same error at same time today?!?

So now it has happened to all the cameras, at two completely different locations. The one thing I did at both locations was set all the cameras to use the default NTP time server and automatically adjust for DST. I did this two days ago.

Multiple Amcrest cams went offline with same error at same time today?!?

All the other cameras are running the same firmware and are all set to NTP time server.

Multiple Amcrest cams went offline with same error at same time today?!?

No; using an old v4 and no auto update.

Multiple Amcrest cams went offline with same error at same time today?!?

They are on a separate subnet with a dedicated router, the only thing that gets through that is the BI webserver port which is forwarded from the main router.

Multiple Amcrest cams went offline with same error at same time today?!?

Cameras in question are P5M-T1179EW-28MM. I have multiple BI systems setup using these same cameras and no problems until today. Around 16:00 three cameras go offline a few minutes apart. They give the "no signal" error in BI; won't respond to restart. Upon http access they present the...

    No app access over WAN?

Yes they were the same. I think I figured it out. Somehow the thing got switched to https for the WAN login. I don't remember doing that. Perhaps when the app updated?

    No app access over WAN?

Using the android app I can no longer log in over WAN. I changed nothing other than possibly windows updates. I can login with the app over LAN, as well as log in to the server via WAN or LAN from a browser with the same credentials, and on the same device the app is installed on! Furthermore...

Can't connect to server from iPhone when using 4G

Peerblock was running on the server. For some reason the ip range of the 4G network was on a blocklist.
