That worked out great thank you. I can connect directly to the camera and see the video. The status is green in NVR and can see the video in the live view. I just did one of them for now and wanted to be able to see it show up in the DSS app so I can be alerted for movement etc. How do I go...
There is indeed a reset button below the SD card slot. I have done it - I think - I held it down for 15 secs when I had the POE ethernet plugged in. I did not hear any beeps or see anything to indicate it reset - is there something I missed?) If that worked do I need the password or something...

I tried inserting them into the same ports considering where they were located (I had updated the Camera name). So if that did not work how do I reset them? I read on the Dahua wiki page that they need to be involved for a camera reset I that correct?

To isolate a particular camera problem I unplugged all 4 ethernet cables from the back of my NVR unit. Now the cameras will not show a green status in the interface and there is no video feed. What is going on with that and what do I need to do?
