    works great once it’s done! Only issue I have is that the zwave sensor will get stuck on the open position sometimes and not auto close itself but it’s infrequent enough that I don’t care to troubleshoot it

    you can activate anything so long as it has the same ability as the zwave switch. Sorry I dont recall anything about the wiring I did as it’s been years and I only did it once. I believe I typed out most of it in this thread though.

    Finally got around to this... Yes, there is IR! It only turns on when the IDMSS app has the camera selected, though! Is there a way to use IR at night 'always on'?

    Good to know, I wont update! but either way, changing the value doesnt make the image any brighter - only makes your dark night image colorful or B/W.

    Yes with values Auto, colorful, and B/W. Mine is set to auto but is dark at night. I just thought that this unit does not have IR on it. I dont see any red LED's at night on the camera so I figured I didnt. Changing the modes does not give me a nice IR night shot like my other dahua cameras.

    No i'm on 4-4-2017 v1.000 WAY OLD but I'm afraid to update it and brick it. Have you done a firmware update? I do have that sensor value, mine is at 60, I've never touched it.

    Not sure. It's POE, and im not sure if something like that exists? power is fed through the RJ45 port, through 803.11 spec.

    Pretty much mirrors my experience. I will add: You can have a username besides admin/admin but it has to be newadmin999/newadmin999 or newadmin1/newadmin1 with the same username/pass which is stupid but at least it's more secure than the default admin/admin Since it's 720p I was OK with 30FPS...
