    @bigredfish how would I type in the ip address of the camera if the nvr IP is 198.168.1.108 and one camera is 10.1.1.68 - how should it look like in the browser? I think I am down to not knowing the password/username of the cameras.

    When selected still not able to access the blue ie. Like you say if I double click the blue ie, then the pop edit screen appears.

    Ok, i now understand the switch and ip address but - My version 4.000 software appears limited I cannot edit and save an ip address for any camera No cameras are found on any ip software available One of the 10.1.1.67 address will not even try and change I compared an image of the working...

    You all seem to be using different software that I have (with a grey backgound). I am using version 4.000 of the nvr software. WhenI type 192.168.1.108 in to my PC web browser I can access the interface of the nvr, but the options with version 4.000 seem very limited - I haven't got the ARP/Ping...

    Just to update. Still no joy. You are correct one port plugged in, trying to serve 4 cams. Would that make a difference as to how to resolve this. A company installed this for me and i am learning as i go.

    Thank you! I will delete them reboot and wait, but can't remove channel 3. I have a tp link on the poe switch upstairs and another plugged into the nvr.

    Hi all, I am Chris, a new member from UK. Have a NVR: DHI-NVR2104-P-4KS2 and 4 x Camera: DH-IPC-HFW5231E-Z12E with an external POE switch upstairs, NVR downstairs. Power cut at weekend, one camera failed to find host on restart. DId a bit of fiddling (oops!) and now no picture on any camera...
