    I used a spare monitor to do the initial setup. I have both cameras added and have figured out remote viewing. But here’s something you might find hilarious, I’m not sure it’s actually storing the recording to the HD. If anyone has advice on how confirm this I’d appreciate it.

    HDD is already installed. I do not have a ‘monitor’ I do have both Mac and windows laptops. The NVR has a hdmi port which I believe I can connect to my tv and use that as a ‘monitor’
