Yep, same here. Normally run a separate IR because of moths and spiders.

Question about newer Dahua cameras...seem they are placing the IR light behind the same glass as the lens on some cameras. One I recently bought had a washed out image with the IR on. Has anybody noticed this?

No, for me at 63 yrs changing the power supply fan was enough. The case fan just makes a blowing air sound, not like the siren noise of the power supply fan.

Yes..the outside wall w holes that the fan blows thru.

Bought the Noctura fan and installed. Upside down but I don't think it matters. It's so quiet I had to see if it was spinning. Had to cut more of the cable off (2 ") and not use the universal connector. I couldn't get all the wire length stuffed in.

Try cutting the mesh off with small metal wire cutters and bending back the tips around the edge.

On my Dahua 5216-16P-4k2 I used small metal snips to cut out the metal mesh over the power supply fan in the back, without removing the cover or anything else. It took the siren noise away..now just loud air flow. Don't have cats or kids in the house

What happened to mine is that it was very sensitive with great sound, but after 6 hours it started humming and had a slight crackling. the replacement worked fine. I'm using a variable power adapter rated max 2.5 Amps.

On the screen does the camera show anything like "account locked"? Any message for the one not working? Do you have the 150 camera port forwarded in your router with 37777?

If it works don't bother it. In SC. My eyeball cams have a spider problem. I regularly use a nylon broom and gently brush near the front of the cams (about every 2 nights). Also spray poison around but that doesn't help much long term. The lumps on the strands set my trip wires off, otherwise...
