I've got the same problem:

But "only" with Mailsending and highest resolution.
I've tested and tested it again.
Everything works fine, record, ftp Upload.... but when I enable the email option and a crossing is detected the camera reboots. Only on full 4MP resolution. :sad2:

I have one big problem. Line crossing detection doesn´t work with the highest resolution. If there is an object detected the camera...
Concerning the bitrate limitation to maximum 12MBit/s I does a little test series with my Synology Diskstation (and Surveillance Station 7).
Am I´m right in thinking that there are the best videoquality if you choose maximum 4 frames per second cause more frames will be to compressed to fit...
It has noting to do with the topic but you have different angle of views. With 1920x1080 (2MP) you have a little more in the width, with 2048x1536 (3MP) setting a little less.
We have the first value from me:
