I'm running a Nvidia 1660 Super and when I installed 2.1.6, GPU acceleration stopped working (2.0.8 worked). Like you, I also switched to the .NET module to keep going using CPU until I can fiddle with Nvidia drivers... Are you saying that the .NET module can use the Nvidia GPU?

I wish there was an offline installer that just had everything required. Installers that depend on online assets are so fragile (in general, not just codeproject).

You can use a bluetooth keyboard/mouse... But I don't. I just use the remote... In Silk browser, the remote controls a virtual mouse pointer. I don't really have any need to interact with UI3 on the "always on" monitors other than launching it and initial setup. If I want to review alerts...

Firestick is Amazon's streaming stick that you plug into an HDMI port on your TV (or monitor)... I use them because they are cheap/subsidized to push Amazon content. I use the Bookmarker app to make a bookmark to UI3.

Until about 5 years ago I used to use old phones and tablet as others are saying in this thread... But I had a tablet's battery swell up and get very hot and an old phone swell up and start smoking. Maybe just bad luck, but now I'm gunshy (and won't leave anything charging unattended now :) )...

When I try to enable GPU (CUDA) for the license plate reader module, it stops, then starts and is still in CPU only mode. I have noticed screenshots of other users who have Object Detection set for GPU and LRP is CPU only like my install, so I'm not sure if I should expect GPU mode to work or...

@actran Thanks, I have been wanting to play with Home Assistant. I had hoped BI could do it solo by somehow putting the plate number in the "to confirm" or "to cancel" fields in the AI settings.
