    Yeah they have all been left on default I’ve never changed any of their IPs they usually assign themselves a new one but this one didn’t, I’m learning something new.

    I’ve got my new camera on but it’s on the same IP address as one of my old ones. It first showed the back garden then the driveway of my house it’s like it’s switching between the two, how do I sort that?.

    Does that look right, I’ve got 4 cables for the cameras in the Poe. The yellow cable from the router to the Poe box. And the cable from my computer going into the router?, I’m sure that’s fine, why have I lost everything I wonder.

    Usually when I buy a new camera I can just log into Hikvision with my browser. But this one it wouldn’t load up at all. So I reset it and sorted some tangled wiring up near router and I’ve lost everything now, all the ones that were on have gone off too.

    The new camera I bought, I reset because I couldn’t log into to it and now I’ve lost all my cameras, all my cameras are showing 8000274c fault, I’m having a nightmare here. None of my cameras are being found now.

    I’ve just bought a brand new camera, he said it’s been opened to be tested and it’s fine, it looks brand new with all the stickers still on etc. He’s sent the IP address and password but it’s not finding the camera when I search for it in my browser and when I add it to Blue Iris I’m getting...

    Thanks, that sounds like a great idea, I’ll use the Ethernet protector too, if I had used that in the first place it would still be fine now, lesson learnt.

    What I should have done is cut a channel out of the wooden board under the facia. I’ve tried to force the wire under the plastic facia and it’s pushed it out just enough to let abit of water in, only a few drops but enough to fry my camera.
