I was obviously commenting on the comment added by networkcameracritic. If I would knew it generates so many 'words' I would have refrained myself from commenting it :)
This is exactly my point :) Why would somebody write a "script that you can run in the background on a schedule to check each camera" if this functionality works already pretty well inside BI itself :)
BI Tools makes sense as it works as a watchdog for the BI process/webserver.
Attached is a...
Most probably I am missing something....but BI has a watchdog for cameras itself (pretty powerful and flexible). The only thing that BI cannot monitor/watch is ... own process :)
Therefore there's the (also free) PCMonitor solution (having even free Android/Iphone/WinPhone clients) which...
I am currently (slowly) working on a "Blue Iris Companion for Web" solution (should work in any modern browser on any platform). The (long term) target is to include there essential remote control abilities (BIC like) plus some "goodies" to help managing the Blue Iris server a bit better (won't...
First link: you could execute http://89.99.126.54/freeimage.jpg every 30 seconds. You get one image.
Second link: is identical with the first one

Look in the source code of the pages and you will see how to properly...
Lol, if I wouldn't have named my app "blue iris companion" I could have added support also for axxon servers :) :)
Just kidding, no plans to do such thing :D
Might be that I am not formatting correctly the request I send to BI (btw the error you get comes from the BI server directly). That would be indeed strange as nobody complained about such error (yet).
So you are not able to see a live stream from any of your cameras? The alerts/clips work?
Can you please tell me the name of your camera? (wanna see if there are some unsupported chars maybe)
I suppose you login as admin? If not please try once as admin.
If u connect via LAN make sure that u specify the right port for the BI server.
If u connect via 3G make sure the port forwarding is correct.
Also check the firewall settings.
Theoretically if u can reach the blue iris webserver via the phone's browser then bic will work too.
