    a bit more background info we initially were able to remote view the cameras but when I changed phones and tried to reconnect to another phone we lost connection on both phones, im not sure if I clicked "unbind" at some point but not sure where

    Hi Alastair I was wondering if you could help me with my most recent problem, I can't connect to the cameras via smartphone on 4g. could this now be an issue with my camera not being on the most recent firmware? I think my box might need updating swell its currently on the v3.4.82 build 160810...

    Thanks corkangel I'll try that. I think I set the DNS to those. So do I need to port forward or should it connect on a smartphone on 4g?

    Yes Piere it's the only QR code to scan. Taking it from platform access . Is there a chance NVR and apps are conflicting?

    Should this hik connect be as simple as scanning the QR code on my on NVR, inputting verification code and that's it connected? Let me verify I can see the stream via WiFi but not remotely Again Mike I have my verification code from my NVR

    mike I've tried every which way I can think of to register.. my most recent problem is that the QR code and verification code don't match I just keep getting incorrect verification code This is what I don't get.. we have had the apps working with no port forwarding but now it is not working...

    Ok so I thought his connect was going to be a breeze and that I would ust scan QR code and away we go.. not the case, can anyone shed some light on the function of hik connect or Ivms-4200 or one of the other hik apps?? I am trying to connect to our NVR whilst out and about on our smart phones...
