    Cameras freezing in Blue Iris?

I have same problem but only on 1 camera out of 8. Restarting blueiris service fixes it. The camera itself is running fine. I have a powershell script that checks to see if an image has been generated in the last 10 minutes. If it hasn't, then i force a trigger of the camera Invoke-WebRequest...

    BlueIris memory leak?

shouldn't it be set to how many cores you have? When set to 1, blueiris says it is using 80% when actually using 40% (with gui open) When I set it to 4, it is saying 17% which is about the CPU it uses without the GUI open.

Abnormal cpu usage after 2/3 hours of working

I have just updated to windows 10 build 1709. And have the high cpu problems. Sits at 30%, then grows up to 60-70% after a few hours. I did have 'memory' leak problems previously. I have intel HD graphics 530, running latest version from intel web site, 22.20.16.4815, 26/09/2017 Btw, I only...

33 4MP IP Hikvision cameras, extreme CPU usage, any ideas?

Get new i7 CPU, that supports hardware acceleration. Also get a 256GB SSD Hard drive. Preferable a M3 SSD drive (motherboard needs to support it). Initial clips go on the SSD before being moved off to the 4TB drives. Blue iris doesn't need ram. I have 32GB of ram, although blueiris only...

Blue Iris compatible doorbell/intercom/2 way audio

The majority of the 'security' concerns are about the web interface which surely won't be exposed to the internet?? Not encrypting the communications to the cloud is a bit of a concern. Would appear to be an amateur company that doesn't use SSL. What else do we not known about??

Blue Iris compatible doorbell/intercom/2 way audio

Posting the serious security concerns about Dbell that was posted by Rich on dbell forums, but has now been deleted. Assume dbell are trying to cover this up. Thankyou google cache. I’ve had this product for a few weeks, and I think it’s only fair to share this. There are significant security...

    Garage Door Automation

I am using open garage (x2). Very happy with it. You can use the supported app (blynk) to open and close the garage remotely. Also it can alert you if open for X minutes. I don't use that feature. It has a great API that you can do your own scripting. I have written my own powershell script to...

Blue Iris compatible doorbell/intercom/2 way audio

Agreed. I haven't looked into it too much. But I would imagine that when someone presses your doorbell, you want the dbell app on your phone to notify you, so you can start a 2-way conversation, which would require the dbell to have internet access I guess you could setup blueiris alerts, so...

Blue Iris compatible doorbell/intercom/2 way audio

there is dbell doorbell which looks interesting and compatable with blueiris. Wi-Fi video doorbell - dbell I did find a thread though in relation to security concerns with the dbell, which has put me off. Hopefully they will address these concerns in the future.

    BI cpu usage

Update your video card drivers. As said before. Search memory leak. This has been fixed for long time now. Also, I bet you changed something. i.e. to use Intel HD acceleration. This is what causes it. If you turn off Intel HD acceleration that will also fix it. Although that will increase CPU...

Motion Sensor - zone crossing questions

don't use hotspot. That is completely separate to zones. I believe hotspot zone will trigger alert regardless.
