Andy is a wizard. I'm not sure how he did it, but I just had a very good conversation with him and he has restored my faith in his brand. Not only has he convinced me to keep my existing camera, but he has also convinced me to buy another one. LOL

My fov area is very well lit at night with street lamps, a porch light, and a 5w led spot light. I tried increasing the shutter speed to 0-7ms and 0-12ms with no effect, and I had my NR 40, compensation 40, and gain set to 0-50. I greatly appreciate your input and your assessment of the image...

My shutter speed is 0-5ms, and it appears to be spreading around the entire screen, even where there is a lot of light. Tomorrow I'll try to cover the camera to see if that fixes the issue. My Annke nc800 makes use of a 1 1/2 sensor that doesn't produce any white dots anywhere.

I will try cleaning the outside of the camera in case there is some dust there since more light didn't help and you can still see them.

I appreciate you spending the time to create these great comparison videos. I've noticed that, compared to the 2.8mm 4K-t, the 3.6mm's focus and sharpness are subpar at 16 feet and 8 feet. I thought this was resolved?

At first i thought the car was dirty so i cleaned it lol, I tried turning off NR and maxing it out and it did'nt make the slightest differance. I'll try some more lights and see if that helps.

I forgot that you have to go through a licenced dealer here as well. but there prices are pretty good here they have the HFW7842-Z for £230 and are doing a special buy 2 get a 3rd free on some 4k cameras but currently they dont have the 4k-t model.

This was effective for me. I'm not sure whether this will work for you, but it's worth a shot. If you're running Windows 11 FireFox, try Windows 10 IE, which worked for me.
