So it isn't what they are cracked up to be and obviously better systems out there. I have seen the hikvision and the dahua brands here. Is this better quality stuff? Do these have more expandability? Ie not proprietary.

I did read the majority of those cliff notes. It spun me out a bit. I was all but getting ready to pull the trigger on a reolink 16 and 8 ch systems but then balked once I read up more. A quick question. Why would I NOT want to use that brand?
