Interference on IP Cams with POE

Viewing the cams through IVMS-4200 or 4500 still show the same issue. I tried switching the monitor as well and the bars are still present. I've tried switching the cameras out and a good camera (one that works without interference in another location) shows the interference when swapped in...

Interference on IP Cams with POE

I've recently installed a bunch of Hik IP cams and NVR. I ran cat6 to each camera and am providing POE through the NVR ( DS-7616NI-E2/16P). Some of the cameras are getting the horizontal hum bars. I have seen them before on analog cams due to power/grounding issues but never on IP cameras. I...

I tried to reverse the camera but it seems that it can only be mounted one way.

Best deal on Imporx (Huisun) v2!

How do I use ivms-4200 or other desktop client to view my cameras remotely?

You'll need to port forward on your router in order to access your cameras outside of your local network.

Switching from analog systems to IP

Hello! I've installed and worked with plenty of the run of the mill lorex/qsee/etc cameras and DVRs. Never really enjoyed the quality or reliability of them. Switched over to IP cams about a year back (hiks with PCNVR) and with POE, HD, and beautiful image quality I won't ever go back.

    Hi from Staffs UK

There are Hikvision tools that will help you out. Basic process is to use the SADP tool to find them on your network and then configure them via web browser. Afterwards, just port forward on your router and you should be able to access remotely. Make sure to use strong passwords to keep hackers out!
