Are there any tutorials available that explain how to manually focus an out-of-focus Hikvision camera?
I purchased the TandemVu PTZ camera and the fixed camera is out of focus, but the PTZ camera works fine. I'd rather attempt to manually refocus it than return it and hope for a working...
Doesn't have to track after the object is blocked, it just has to LINGER at the last known spot for X duration (customizable time, at most 60sec) before reseting back to the preset position.
No reason why this can't be done with the current devices. Hikvision and Reolink PTZs do this perfectly.
When will Dahua fix the firmware so tracking lingers at the last location that the object was at (for a brief period/customizable duration) after it can't track the object anymore? You can see it happen at the 1:06 minute mark in the video you uploaded.
That is the main downside to my camera...

I can't find any review threads or sample videos but I know this model is highly recommended. I haven't heard anyone comment on whether this model will auto zoom-in while tracking an object.
Thanks!
Budget is under $1000 and use case is neighborhood type surveillance with nice FOV that's unobstructed by trees/poles. Daylight quality more important than night-time. I'd prefer if it had auto zoom in while tracking feature.
Yea based on your other videos it looks solid!
Would you recommend it as the best PTZ camera in the $750-1000 price range? If not, which would you recommend?
