    recommend using usb, cost cheaper. solved the problem already using the instruction aboved. null modem+usb cable

    Thanks TonyR for the recom. I try to asked also where i can get the firmware, however i will try just using eracfg config without load the new firmware.

    Dear asxx21, thanks for the info, I have Honeywell HEN16102. Dont know the password and would like to reset into factory default. Can you help by giving step by step how to do it until i can reset it using eracfg command? Thanks for the help.

    Hope still active, since long time already the reply. I do have the same model honeywell hen16102. I have question about the point no 4. where i can get the firmware files? Can we just reset into factory default through rs232? Thank you very much for the help
