    I am finding it hard to figure out which Ezviz doorbells can be connected to wires. And Amazon and Ebay has a pitiful selection to choose from. May have to go with another brand. I could go with Simplisafe to tie in with my alarm.

    Well shoot. I beat on it but no luck. I just had this same problem with a CCTV camera and hitting it worked. Guess I will be tearing into it to see if I can fix it. If not I will try to find a replacement here in the US.

    Yes. The setup went smooth. I was confused about the tones you can pick from. It has a tone for the motion detect and the doorbell button press. You cannot change the tone for the motion detect. Or you can opt to not have it.

    So it does work with my DB1, however the volume is so weak on these things you will need to have it in the room with your tv to hear it. Maybe even next to your favorite chair. Now I may need to buy another one for other end of house.

    Their website says it will work with the DB1 and DB1C. EZVIZ Smart Chime - Video Doorbell Companion Anyone verify it will work with my DB1? I am on my 3rd mechanical, and I am done with them.

    Same here. I am fed up with problems with my mechanical chime working with the DB1. And I dont see a single dealer anywhere for their smart chime CS-CMT-CHIME
