Amcrest IP4M-1041B - getting substream and pan/tilt to work

I wanted a pan / tilt wifi cam for my garage and the price was right on this one. I imported it into BlueIris, but the auto-detect didn't find the substream, and it didn't set up PTZ. PTZ works through Amcrest's web app when connecting directly to the camera, but not through BlueIris. Has anyone had a similar issue, and has any ideas? I didn't use any of the Amcrest software - just connected the camera, configured some of the settings via the web, then did "Find/Inspect" with http:// and the IP address.

I was able to find the substream by looking at the substream wiki and using "/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=1" in the sub profile setting to 'default'.

Thanks in advance! I'm fairly new to BI, but I didn't see anything on PTZ in the wiki.

Here's what it auto-detects -

FWIW, @Darkhog ...

You don't have to redact your private LAN IP's, we all have 'em; note that @DG99 didn't, and my BI server IP is 192.168.1.239.
It's only the WAN (public) IP that should not be revealed.

Thanks all for the suggestions. I'm still not able to get PTZ to work, copying your settings above @DG99 . Thanks @CarlosBarletta for the video, but it doesn't mention PTZ. Thanks @TonyR for the comment on internal networks.

I tried in the video section selecting Amcrest and different camera models, none of them fixed PTZ though some cut off video feed (the IP4M-1041B model isn't in the drop down).
I also tried the same in PTZ - Choose any of the listed configs that specified Amcrest. Did not work.
I also tried other ports for PTZ - 80, 443, 8999, some others. None helped.

I also see in Discovery that ONVIF GetSystemDateAndTime returns different results. It was 403, then I turned off ONVIF Authentication in the camera network settings. Now it returns HTTP 12152, then it retries on port 8999 and gets HTTP 12029. Not sure on what those error codes indicate, but I was assuming ONVIF would work with this camera.

When you do Find/Inspect, do you end up with this same result?

Again, PTZ works in the browser for the camera, but still not in Blue Iris.

Thank you for any ideas!

Thanks @CarlosBarletta . I do have the box checked, and clicked OK - see my picture above. It is still not working. I am also using the admin account, so it should have full access. What do you have in the Network IP settings? I have tried all the Amcrest cameras, and ONVIF, and nothing is working.

didju try the Amcrest IP2M-841 cam in "video tab? maybe it'll go with that.

@DG99 ,
Are you using the same cam (Amcrest IP4M-1041B ) as the OP successfully, including PTZ, main and sub streams?

Here is my Firmware version

I'm running 2 of the IP2M-841W-V3
Oh, so they're not the same as OP. His IP4M-1041 must be different from the 841's then concerning configuration.
I also have 2 of the V3 IP2M-841's that use all the same configs with BI as yours, my f/w is a bit older:

Software VersionV2.800.0000000.1.R, Build Date: 2019-09-27

These are my firmware / software versions. Is there some camera that can be set? Are there logs I can collect, and report to BI or Amcrest?

Software Version V2.800.00AC002.0.R, Build Date: 2021-05-18
WEB Version V3.2.1.864542
ONVIF Version 18.12(V2.4.5.826858)

why are you using port 443? if thats the secure HTTPs port, that could be mucking things up? use port 554 and turn off HTTPs.
you should try redoing " Find Inspect" with HTTPS turned off and see what ports it finds, and then see what happens then.
