You obviously do not know what the 21 foot rule is. It is about observation time, recognition time, decision time, and reaction time.

It takes time for you to observe that the BG is coming, time to recognize he is a threat/has a weapon, time to decide your response, and time to actually react with that response. So if that BG is less than 21 feet from you when this all 'begins', you will have a very tough time reaching a favorable outcome.

As far as a 'hit' throwing a full charging BG and making him stumble so you can step out of the way? Only in the movies.
Exactly.

The 21 foot rule relates to an assailant with a knife and you are armed.

I could draw my weapon from a triple retention holster in 1.2 seconds after a lot of and continued practice.

However, the assailant would normally prevail.

So, if within 21’ the “bring a knife to a gunfight” would usually end up with the knife in you.

I believe the stupid ass prosecutor did this in an attempt to emotionally sway the jury "oh no, how terrifying to be looking up the barrel of a rifle". At that particular instance, the defenses should have brought out a skateboard to swing over his head after he's been pushed to the ground so he understands even the slightest bit what Kyle was experiencing. But yeah, he definitely exposed his blatant stupidity pulling out that rifle in court.

Most people outside the gun world have never even heard of the 21 foot rule. I attribute that to the lack of gun education in our k-12 education system. The fact that you are still with us, means you survived the knife assault.
Maybe from holstered gun and someone with a slow draw, although even then, the demonstrations I've seen in favour have still allowed an officer to draw his gun to a position where he could get at least one shot off. A single shot whilst not often deadly, would probably cause an assaillant running at full pace to stagger from being unbalanced by the energy and you could simply step aside and shoot again after he ran past. But from a ready position or low ready position or from a holster with someone who's a quick draw, no chance. They'd probaly get 2 or 3 shots off.
Book learning versus actual field experience. Try it with a "blue" gun and a fake knife. Let us know how that works out for you. From around 21 feet with an aggressive attacker, unless you are in the same realm of Jerry Miculek, you will lose. Yes, you will get the gun out of the holster, you will not get it raised up and a half clean shot off.

I agree with you. Demonizing the evil AR was at the heart of this case. That on-camera courtroom stunt was probably well orchestrated and paid for by DNC operatives. And I'm pretty confident most of Rittenhouse's tormentors would shit themselves and freeze in panic in that young man's place, and they know it.

I see Pete Buttplug got his 2 cents in as well.

Notice how they’re being a tad cautious in their condemnations while trying to appease the dumbfuck liberal Democrats with no critical thinking skills?

I think they know they’re so far on the wrong side of this they are better off talking about climate change…

Rich, black kid shoots 4 at Texas high school from point blank range, is out walking around freely the very next day on a $75K bond. Where is the justice for his victims? Where is the Nationwide outrage that he is out, walking around freely after only 24 hours? Who blew whom to let this travesty happen? He wasn't being attacked, he was the instigator. He shot a teacher and harmed a pregnant woman. He critically injured a 15 year old. He injured another girl. Don't give me the overly wore out excuse that this is racism. This is the case of a spoiled brat, brining a firearm to school, getting mad, pulling firearm out of his backpack and point blank shooting anyone he could. Me thinks he plays GTA it bit too much.
